Our Salon evenings offer participants an opportunity to explore the symbolic realm as it is enacted in public and private life through film, literature, myths, fairy tales and other material. The French tale, Bluebeard (Perrault) will lead us into reflections and hypotheses about emergent contemporary themes of sexuality, power, and men and women’s conscious and unconscious societal roles


Michelle Seligson, M.Ed, IAAP* is a Jungian Analyst, a graduate of the C.G. Jung Institute-Boston, and from 1979 to 2007 a Senior Research Scientist and project director at the Wellesley College Centers for Women. She is in private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Brian Hobb, M.Ed., CAGS, IAAP * is a Jungian Analyst and a graduate of the C.G. Jung Institute in Boston. He works in a mental health clinic in Fitchburg, MA, and has a private practice in Princeton, MA. He writes creativity and is currently in arrears to his muse.
