Edward Edinger’s Ego and Archetype with Jason E. Smith, MA, IAAP

Six Mondays from Feb. 27th to April 3rd, 11am – 1pm
Cost: $200  12 MHC and NASW CEUs

Ego and Archetype is a classic work, by one of the foremost interpreters of Jung, on one of Jung’s core psychological concepts – the process of individuation. In this book, Edward Edinger elaborates on such topics as the ego-Self axis, the relation of myths and symbols to psychology, and the religious function of the psyche. In this six-session seminar, we will work our way through the book together while relating the subject matter to our own experiences and personal individuation journeys.

This seminar will be limited to twelve participants.  Confidentiality must be respected. Prior psychological background is helpful but not necessary.

Jason E. Smith is a Jungian analyst based in the beautiful Cape Ann region of Boston’s North Shore. His areas of focus include depression, dreamwork, and spiritual development. Jason is a member of the training board of the C.G. Jung Institute-Boston and serves as the analyst director of the Institute’s Summer Intensive. He has a private practice in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA.
